Girls Team Beats Provo 5-0

Mt. View played Orem at Orem. It was a tie score throughout most of the game at 0-0.

It was a strong fight between the two until Orem’s girls came through with five goals late in the game, getting the win at the end. Some of the main players who scored for our team were Tanyail Wilson scored 1 goal for the Tigers along with Tatyana Monson who scored 2 goals!

Girls Soccer Celebrates Season with Costume Practice

The girls soccer team works on many skills throughout the year: trapping, dribbling, and shooting among others. But for one day every October, they work on all these skills dressed as video game characters, superheroes, and various non-human creatures. An annual ritual, the Halloween costume practice was fun again this year. Coach Louder was dressed as an old man eerily reminiscent of the geriatric chess player in Pixar’s short film Geri’s game and the rest of the team scrimmaged in various costumes.
