Girls Tennis Plays Exhibition Match Against Local Players

The Girls Tennis Team Played an exhibition match Thursday against women who play on USTA League Teams at local clubs.  According to the coaches, “it was a great chance for the athletes to learn to play smart; their opponents today were very savvy tennis players.”  Many of the OHS players said that this was one of the best learning opportunities so far this season.  Kristy Rowley, who played doubles with BethAnn Crane reported that “the chance to play against this level of competition will get us ready for our toughest matches.”  Other players appreciated the chance to play doubles with a new partner–and then to get valuable feedback from their opponents.
